Bee Gees Shine On Strictly Come Dancing

Robin and Barry Gibb have performed as the Bee Gees for the first time since losing their band mate brother Maurice in 2003, but they insist they are still coming to terms with his death.
Maurice, Robin's twin, passed away in 2003 aged 53 following complications during surgery to correct an intestinal blockage. The surviving brothers were so distraught it took them years to work up enough the courage to perform as a band again - debuting as a duo on U.K. reality TV show Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night.
Robin reveals the brothers' dealt with their loss in different ways, and it was older sibling Barry, 63, who wanted to keep the band on hold.
The Night Fever hitmaker says, "He was too young to die. It was awfully sad for us and it's still hard to believe. Barry and I had our different ways of dealing with it. Barry couldn't face being a Bee Gee or making music. I respected that. It took a few years for us to break through that emotion."
