Billy Joel’s chef wife Katie Lee Joel is cooking up plans for her own New York City burger joint.

The former Top Chef TV host's beef patties won the top spot at last year's Food and Wine Festival in Brooklyn.

The 27-year-old is keen to share the winning recipe with the masses by opening a burger joint of her own in Manhattan, reports the New York Post.

Joel's spokesperson has confirmed the idea is in the works, although she has yet to choose a name and exact location for the venture.
