Henson And Ali Land Black Girls Rock Awards

The two ladies were honoured at the sixth annual awards.

Singer/actress Tatyana Ali and Hustle & Flow star Taraji P. Henson were among the honourees at Saturday night's sixth annual Black Girls Rock Awards.

Henson picked up the Star Power Award while Ali was named the Young, Gifted & Black Award recipient.

The New York City party, which was hosted by Diana Ross' daughter Tracee and Regina King, featured performances by Melanie Fiona, Estelle, Mary Mary, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu.
