Buddy Holly is to be honoured with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on what would have been his 75th birthday.
The late rock 'n' roll icon's star will be unveiled by his widow Maria Elena Holly, while Phil Everly and actor Gary Busey, who played Holly on film, will pay tribute to the Peggy Sue hitmaker.
The star will be located outside the Capitol Records building on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, and it will be the 2,447th unveiled.
