Carrie Underwood Limps Through American Idol

Carrie Underwood limped her way through her performance at the American Idol Finale last night after injuring her leg during a fall.

The former Idol winner returned to the show to perform as part of the two-night finale and admits she almost didn't make it. She explains, "I was running... I was about halfway through and I fell and this nice little lady was driving behind me...

"She saw the incident and she was nice enough to pull over and roll down the window and say, 'Can I take you home.”

"I fought back the tears and she took me home... It looks ugly... but I don't think I hurt anything." Ever the professional there Carrie.
