Chely Wright marries girlfriend
Chely Wright married her girlfriend in a ceremony in Conneticut on Saturday.
The Country singer met partner Lauren Blitzer last year, just two weeks after the Single White Female hitmaker announced she was a lesbian.
The pair exchanged voew at Blitzer's aunt's house with the close family and friends. They both wore white wedding gowns.
Wright, a Christian and Blitzer, who is jewish, opted for an inter-faith ceremony with botha rabbi and a reverend presiding over their nuptials.
The couple hired a DJ to entertain their guests as opposed to a band.
Wright tells People.com: "Bands at weddings make me nervous."
