Jarvis Cocker and model-turned-actress Lily Cole showed their support for Britain's university students by taking part in a London rally against hikes in tuition fees on Wednesday.
Pulp frontman Cocker and the British beauty joined thousands of demonstrators as they protested against funding cuts and the UK government's plans to increase tuition fees.
Nearly 4,000 police officers were recruited to ensure the march was carried out peacefully after demonstrations in December spiralled into violent riots.
Both stars attended higher education colleges in the UK - Cole graduated from Cambridge University this summer, while Cocker studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.
