Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks got together to play the song Landslide on Wednesday for the Oprah Winfrey show.
The duet was part of a salute to the ladies of rock, which also included Pat Benatar and Joan Jett.
Miley Cyrus joined Jett onstage for a medley of hits like Bad Reputation, I Hate Myself for Loving You and The Runaways' Cherry Bomb, while Avril Lavigne duetted with Benatar on empowerment anthem Love is a Battlefield.
Cyrus told Oprah the chance to perform with her idol was a dream come true: "I auditioned for my show (Hannah Montana) with (Jett song) I Love Rock n' Roll and the first album I ever made I had I Love Rock n' Roll, so it's always meant something to me, seeing Joan stand up for chicks who wanna play the guitar."
The girl power TV special also featured studio performances by Salt 'N Pepa and Sister Sledge.
