Eminem Played Secret Show On Monday

Eminem burned up the streets of New York on Monday for two top secret shows to launch his new album Recovery.

The rapper kicked off the day by performing with Jay-Z on the rooftop of the Ed Sullivan Theatre for a taped performance that will air on The Late Show with David Letterman on Friday.

Eminem then capped a busy day of promotions with a show at New York's Bowery Ballroom on Monday night for an impromptu show, dubbed Red Bull EmSee: The Road to 8 Mile.

Eminem performed Despicable Freestyle and two new songs from Recovery.
