Fantasia Barrino gives birth two weeks early

Fantasia Barrino is a new mum - the American Idol star gave birth to a baby boy.
 
Dallas Xavier Barrino was born two weeks ahead of schedule in North Carolina.
 
The proud mom tells People.com: "I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."
 
The father is believed to be former college basketball star Antwaun Cook.
 
Barrino has a 10-year-old daughter, called Zion, from a previous relationship.
