VYet another rapper to be bitten by the reality TV bug is Houston's Lil Flip. The American Rapper show which will feature contestans=ts from ten cities in the US including New York, Houston, Vegas and Chicago. Flip will be in control of grooming the American Rapper into all aspects of the business.The rapper who recently released his I Need Mine album said on his new venture "With my show I'm gonna try to find a rapper, they get a two album deal, a chain and money. I'm teaching 'em media training. How to handle interviews, what not to say and do. How to talk to people and network, how to run commercial spots, how to construct a song, attitudes."
Russ and Kimora on warpath
Turns out the once King and Queen of Hip-Hop fashion, Russell Simmons and estranged wife Kimora Lee Simmons are seeking a quarter of a million dollars minimum in a libel lawsuit against US gossip magazine In Touch. However there is a small hitch to this lawsuit as it appears the Simmons failed to define exactly what they are seeking damages for.The papers were filed in the New York Supreme Court on May 17th Bauer Publishing who publishes the magazine were also named in the suit.
Fugees Reunion may not happe
n According to Pras, member of the groundbreaking trio The Fugees, the reunion of the millennium which people have been anticipating may never happen.When Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras appeared on stage in 2005 at the BET Awards, the music industry and worldwide fans were teased into thinking the trio were going to make a come back close to ten years after releasing their critically acclaimed album, The Score.

However in a recent interview Pras said that a new album may never happen citing front lady Lauryn Hill as part of the problem "You know, unfortunately Miss Hill, she got some things she needs to deal with. I wish her the best, but life goes on."

The Hip-Hop Violinist in Car Accident
Miri Ben-Ari the Israeli Hip-Hop violinist who has performed alongside names like Kanye West and Twista was involved in a serious car crash in New Jersey earlier this week.

Her S Class Mercedes was hit by a delivery truck and the musician hit her head off the dashboard. No serious injuries however were reported.

Rapper Young Jeezy arrested
The platinum selling Def Jam Recording artist, Young Jeezy was arrested outside a strip club in his home city Atlanta early yesterday morning.

The verbal altercation was enough to land Jeezy born Jay Jenkins in the cells and ordered to pay $284 bond to be released. No statements have been released from the rapper in correspondence with the arrest.
