Gene Simmons has married his longterm partner Shannon Tweed in a romantic ceremony in California.

The couple, who has been together for 28 years and have two grown-up children, exchanged their own vows at an outdoor ceremony at the Beverley Hills Hotel in LA on Saturday in front of 400 guests, including Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.

Simmon's KISS bandmate Paul Stanley was among the wedding party and the couple's daughter was made of honour, according to People.com.
