Geri: ‘Bulimia Almost Killed Me'

Geri Halliwell has opened up about her battle with bulimia for the first time ever after speaking to Piers Morgan on his Life Stories show.

In an interview with the former Mirror editor, the ex Spice Girl admits; “I was worried I’d get fat. I would binge and then felt fatter and would make myself sick. It was awful.”

She also confessed that it was fellow pop star and old friend Robbie Williams who finally helped her face her demons;  “Robbie knew about my bulimia, he told me to go into rehab and that possibly saved my life. I will always be grateful to him, always.”

Apparently Geri is  “happy and healthy” now, and you can see the full interview on 3 April on ITV1 at 9.25pm.
