Girls Aloud Dismiss Coyle Split Rumors

A representative for Girls Aloud has dismissed rumors the band is planning to reunite without Nadine Coyle.

I never said anything about how many people I'd slept with!

The U.K.'s biggest girl group has taken a 12-month break to concentrate on individual projects and the five-piece has been dogged by split rumors during that time.

New gossip emerged this month (Jul10) suggesting Northern Irish singer Coyle, who now lives in Los Angeles, is set to quit her role and leave the group to continue as a four-piece.

But a spokesperson for the band has told Britain's Daily Mail the reports are not true, insisting Girls Aloud has signed a record deal to return with a sixth album next year (11).

British pop star Walsh has hit back at reports she boasted about only bedding two men - insisting her words were taken out of context.

The Girls Aloud beauty hit the headlines in the U.K. earlier this month (Jul10) after revealing in her column for OK! magazine that she had only ever been with two men.

But the singer insists she meant she had only ever been in two serious relationships, and states she would never reveal how many men she had slept with.

In her column for the publications, she writes, "I was also in the news a lot last week after a story broke saying that I've only slept with two people. This came from an interview where I said I've only had two longterm relationships. I never said anything about how many people I'd slept with! It's a very personal thing and I would never discuss this in an interview so you can imagine my shock to see the story plastered all over the newspapers."
