Despite the fact that we’re not allowed to have an ‘official’ World Cup song this year, it seems that everyone and anyone is having a go at releasing something football-related, just for the sake of it.
Our favourite contenders this year come in the form of James Corden and Dizzee Rascal who have joined forces with Simon Cowell to work on a song called Shout For England, and we can’t WAIT to hear it.
Rumour has it that the pair have already laid down the track in the studio and they’re planning to unveil it live during the Britain’s Got Talent grand final this coming Saturday.
In true celebrity style, the pair of them will be donating all the royalties made from the song to Great Ormond Street children’s hospital, and have blagged mobile phone company TalkTalk into hosting free phonelines for all us England fans to ring up and sing along with the chorus. Brilliant.
