Jo Whiley - the lady who plonked herself at the forefront of 'new music' is leaving Radio One after a massive 17 years at the station.
Don't worry though, she's not leaving forever and ever, instead Jo will move to Radio 2 in April to present a new evening show, three times a week, whilst Huw Stephens, will take over Jo's old weekend show.
Jo said: “I’ve loved working at Radio 1 for the past 17 years. As well as supporting my love of music, Radio 1 have also supported and accommodated me bringing three further children into the world, something, as a woman, I will always be grateful for.'
We'll miss you Jo!
