Kid Rock Concert Cancelled

A Kid Rock concert in Alabama has been called off as U.S. residents brace themselves for Tropical Storm Lee.

The Cowboy rocker was due to perform for fans at The Wharf in Orange Beach on Monday (05Sep11) but promoters have decided to postpone the gig due to severe thunderstorms.

Tickets will be honored when the show is rescheduled for a future date.

Officials have issued flash flood warnings in Alabama as Lee threatens to bring heavy rains across the Gulf of Mexico coast of the U.S. - less than a week after Hurricane Irene wreaked havoc on the East Coast.
