Could the electro pop claws be coming out once again now that La Roux star Elly Jackson has said that she feels sorry for fellow electropop newcomer Little Boots.

Trying to disguise her cheap dig as a sympathetic comment, the 'In For The Kill' singer claimed that the media creates too much hype about new artists who are then expected to secure bestselling records and told the Daily Star that; "The reaction she got was so unfair. Hype can be a very dangerous thing, it can accelerate people's expectations,"

Oh right, so it’s not just because Little Boots, bagged herself the BBC Sound of 2009 poll and released a debut album that went right in at number five then is it?

La Roux's self-titled debut was held off the top spot by Michael Jackson last month but the duo's second single 'Bulletproof' reached number one in June. *claps hands*
