Led Zeppelin's album sales have increased by a whopping 500 per cent since the legendary band announced its one-off comeback performance.The Black Dog group announced plans for Monday's (10Dec07) concert in September (07) and all the press attention has had a huge affect on sales of their back catalogue.Hmv's Gennero Castaldo says, "This demonstrates the enduring appeal of Led Zeppelin as the definitive rock band. Their music is now connecting with a whole new generation of fans, who are discovering its brilliance for the first time."In other news fans have been warned to avoid websites that are purporting to have tickets for an upcoming Led Zeppelin world tour.Hoardes of bogus sellers flooded the Internet with claims of tickets just hours after the rock legends' triumphant comeback gig on Monday (10Dec07).But an industry source warns, "Don't get pulled in by the online touts claiming to have tickets already - they don't."The band has so far refused to speculate on whether they would play any more live dates, despite The Cult frontman Ian Astbury recently claiming he would be playing a series of gigs with Led Zeppelin next year (08).
