Lewis Stays At Number 1
Singer Leona Lewis has held on to her number one spot in both the singles and album charts. Bleeding Love - the biggest selling song of 2007 kept its top spot for a fifth week in the singles chart. Meanwhile Lewis's album Spirit, the UK's fastest selling debut album of all time, remained number one for a second week. The Spice Girls' Greatest Hits album fell from two to seven in its second week of release. In the singles chart, T2's Heartbroken, featuring Jodie Aysha, stormed into the top 10 and landed the number two slot, forcing Take That's Rule The World to fall one place to number three.Amy Winehouse's Valerie, reworked by producer Mark Ronson, is now in its 19th week in the Top 40 and held on to fifth place. Another X Factor winner, Shayne Ward, 23, had the highest new entry with Breathless, the third single from his second album, arriving at number six. Other new entries in the singles chart included Girls Aloud's Call The Shots at nine and the Elvis Presley classic Always on My Mind at number 17.
In the album chart, Westlife's Back Home moved up one place to number two, and Rejoice, from Katherine Jenkins was the highest new entry at number three.
