Lil Boosie the rapper may be facing drug charges after allegations were made that he planned to smuggle codeine syrup into prison.
The rapper, whos real name is Torrence Hatch, is currently serving a four year sentence for drug and gun possession and for the violation of his parole from a previous conviction.
He also is going to stand trial for first degree murder which is related to a shooting in Louisiana in 2009 which he has pleaded not guilty.
He was charged on Wedneday and is now facing a count of count of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution and inciting a felony after he was accused of working with two men in an attempt to sneak drugs into the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola.
