Linkin Park team up with Haitian officials

Linkin Park have teamed up with United Nations officials in a bid to help supply Haitian families with clean energy sources.

The group met with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday to discuss their new partnership and together they brainstormed way to replace kerosene, charcoal and wood with more sustainable power souces, which are less detrimental to the environment.

This is not the first time the New Divide singers have reached out to support the earthquake hit country - bassist Dave Farrell jetted to the troubled nation in April in a bid to rally donations and back a new campaign to prevent violence and crime.
