NAS the rapper was “almost killed” during a photo shoot that went awry in 1999.
Danny Hastings a celebrity photographer teamed up with the rapper to create an Egyptian themed album cover for his album I Am, and it required NAS to be fitted with a King Tutankhamen themed mold.
Hastings told MTV.com He tells MTV.com, "The funny part was that the first attempt, Nas was getting asphyxiated.
We almost killed Nas. (But) Nas was a true sport. We cleaned him up, and he was like, 'Let's do it again!'"
