Piers Morgan gives his view on Madonna and Guy’s split

America’s Got Talent judge and shamed British newspaper editor Piers Morgan is convinced his pal Guy Richie’s split from Madonna was caused by the difference between American and British humour.The pair announced earlier this month that they are to divorce following seven-and-a-half years of marriage.Morgan - who has been friends with the British moviemaker for more than 20 years - insists that the separation was inevitable. He says, "I'm sure the gym, Kabbalah and foreign-baby obsessions grew insanely annoying over the eight years they were together.“But I suspect that in the end it was the massive gulf between the British and American senses of humour that finally did for poor Guy."
