Rod Stewart will perform a private gig for one of America's richest men next month (Feb07), after accepting a $1 million (£513,000) invite to play at Stephen A Schwarzmann's 60th birthday party.The Maggie May rocker, 62, is reported to have agreed to perform with his band at the private event in New York City on 13 February (07), with some of the wealthiest people in the US in attendance.Schwarzmann, the Ceo and co-founder of the Blackstone private equity and management company, was this month (Jan07) ranked by Forbes magazine as the 73rd richest person in America, with a personal fortune of $3.5 billion (£1.8 billion).
