Randy Jackson praises J-Lo's strength through marriage breakdown

Randy Jackson has praised his fellow American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez for 'rising above' the breakdown of her marriage and instead throwing herself into her work.

The singer/actress has been focusing her efforts on her music, acting and fashion commitments since she announced her split from husband Marc Anthony in July.

Jackson has admitted he is in awe of Lopez's strength and work ethic as she juggles her personal life and career with auditions for the talent show.

He tells People.com: "We've been doing auditions and she's rising above (marriage troubles). She's strong, she's a trooper, she's a great girl. She's amazing."
