Rod Stewart's Brood To Witness Baby Birth

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Rod Stewart inviting all his kids into the delivery room when Penny Lancaster gives birth is a bit weird?

Apparently the couple want the birth to be a celebration and so they've invited all of Stewart's kids to be a part of the big day. Lancaster tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "We all went out for dinner for (Stewart's eldest son) Sean's birthday and they (siblings) all want to come to London for the birth.

"(Daughter) Ruby was there for the birth of her mum Kelly Emberg's two boys. She said it was the most incredible experience, and she wanted to be part of it. The whole gang will be there."

Stewart has announced the new arrival - his eighth kid - will be his last.
