Jake Shears battles illness through performance

Scissor Sisters star Jake Shears battled through illness to perform for fans in Singapore.
 
The frontman came down with a mystery illness but refused to let his fans down by cancelling the band's concert in Fort Canning Park as part of their Night Work Tour.
 
Shears took to his Twitter page after the show to thank the audience for its patience, admitting he felt worse than ever during the gig.
 
He writes: "I always knew there would be a night I had to get on stage sicker than the sickest dog. That night was tonight. Thank you Singapore for your love."
