Singer Misses Cue On Live TV

Annie Lennox missed her cue to perform on a U.S talk show on Tuesday despite saying beforehand she has overcome stage fright.

The singer appeared as a guest on the Regis and Kelly show which was being broadcast live.

Lennox was to perform a cover version of her favourite Christmas carol “The Holly And The Ivy” in front of a live studio audience.

During the interview before she performed she said: “I used to get really badly nervous, but I've been through so many things now. There's no point. I think there comes a time when you're a performer you have to get over your stage fright...Why be nervous?”

The singer was about to perform but missed her cue to start singing with her guitarist prompting her. However, after failing to catch up she decided to start the set again.
