Reunited The Police To Return To The Road In Canada.... Reunited rockers The Police will kickstart their first tour in 23 years this May (28May07) in Vancouver, Canada.The trio were staging a press conference at fabled Los Angeles music venue the Whisky A Go Go - to announce plans to celebrate their 30th anniversary by touring the world - as Wenn went to press.According to Billboard.com, the group will also headline the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee on 16 June (07).Full details of the tour will be released later today (12Feb07).The trio began their comeback when they opened the Grammy Awards with a version of Roxanne last night (11Feb07).Frontman Sting shouted, "Ladies and gentlemen, we are The Police and we're back," as the group kickstarted the Grammy ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.According to Billboard.com, the trio plans to play 80-plus shows around the world this year (07), including dates in the UK, South America and Japan. The group is also planning to perform a stadium show at baseball mecca Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
