Tim McGraw celebrates troops with free concert

Tim McGraw is to celebrate America's troops with a free concert in honour of his country's servicemen.

The Live Like You Were Dying singer will perform at the Tour For The Troops event and headline a day of fun for the military and their families at Camp Pendleton in California next month.

He says: "I am proud to perform for the troops and to celebrate our heroes, bringing attention to the need to improve quality of life among men and women who serve our country."

The event aims to raise awareness about Post-Traumatic Stress disorder among soldiers and resources available to help those suffering with depression and psychological issues wihen returning for active duty.
