Tim McGraw performs with broken foot

Tim McGraw hobbled onstage at a show in North Carolina on Saturday sporting a corrective boot after breaking his foot in a mystery accident.

The singer has yet to open up about how the injury occurred but he tweeted fans about the break last week.

He joked: "FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, car wrecks, bar fights, high school rodeo... and this is the first broken bone I've ever had!"

The Live Like You Were Dying hitmaker has also taken to using a cane to help him get around onstage, insisting: "The show must go on."

Dont care if you r n a corrective boot or not will see you in nobelsville,ind on july 17th. You r the best and I have waited for forever for this time and I am so excited. See you Sunday july 17th...yahoooooooo
