Rockers VAN HALEN stunned 14,000 employees of innovative communications firm Research In Motion when they performed a secret gig for them in Toronto, Canada on Thursday (15Nov07).RIM boss Jim Balsillie organised the show as a thank you to his employees and asked two of his all-time favourite acts to perform.Van Halen were joined by the Tragically Hip for the low-key surprise show at the Air Canada Center.The gig came at the beginning of a week off for reunited Van Halen, who are currently on tour in North America.Research In Motion is the company behind hip communications device the Blackberry.
