Weezer star Rivers Cuomo has been hospitalized in New York after his tour bus skidded off a snowy road en route to a show in Massachusetts.
The frontman suffered minor injuries in the accident early on Sunday morning and was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York, complaining of rib pain.
His assistant, Sarah Kim, was also injured, according to the Utica Observer-Dispatch. Reports suggest Cuomo's wife and two-year-old daughter were also on the bus, but they escaped without injury.
Cuomo and his family were on their way to a Monday night show at Boston University's Agganis Arena. It is not known if the show will go on.
Weezer also have concerts planned in Washington, D.C. and New Jersey later this week. Details on Cuomo's condition were not available as we went to press.
