John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono is to close the museum she dedicated to her late husband in her native Japan.
Ono opened the John Lennon Museum on the outskirts of Tokyo in 2000 to mark what would have been the Beatle's 60th birthday.
The exhibition is packed with Lennon memorabilia including guitars, stage costumes and hand-written lyrics, but Ono has decided it's time for the venture to come to an end.
She says in a statement, "After 10 years here, John's spirit is now moving on - looking onward to the next journey. Thanks to your love for the museum, what we'd thought would be five years became 10."
The museum will close its doors in September.
