Anteros have this week released their brand new single ‘Drunk’; the first slice from their upcoming EP of the same name and a preview of the showcase they’ll be playing at London’s Sebright Arms on April 27, 2017. Now, the music video for the track has dropped, which you can check out below:

Shifting from their usual cheeky indie pop to a vigorous and uncompromising piece that demands respect, the group aim to prove that they’re able to bend and morph the usual constraints set out by traditional genres, and with new guitarist Jackson Couzens brought into the fold, the band sound better than ever before.

Vocalist and leading lady Laura Hayden is more confident than ever as she delivers a performance packed with a punch, and we see her pink-haired alter ego’s journey in the visual piece, knocking back tequila in a video influenced by the likes of Pulp Fiction and Trainspotting.

Speaking about the single, Hayden comments: “I think of all the things I want to tell you but I can’t, I’m going to let them go. I’m just drunk and in love with you.”

2017 looks set to be one of the most defining years for Anteros, following their support for Two Door Cinema Club during their UK tour. This year, they’ll go on to support Blaenavon and White Lies in the UK and Europe, expanding their ever-growing fan base.
