Chris Martin will join Usher and Ed Sheeran amongst other artists who will perform next month at a Stevie Wonder tribute concert.

Joining them will be Janelle Monae and Willie Nelson at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on February 10.

Ed said in a statement: "Stevie Wonder is an absolute legend and I am so honored to be a part of this very special night."

Further performers are to be revealed in the coming days for the gig - broadcast in America on CBS on February 16 - and is to see those chosen to perform select a song from the singer's huge back catalogue.

Tickets are now on sale for the concert, which award bosses thought it was "fitting" to honour Stevie with after he has scooped a huge 25 Grammy awards.

President/CEO of the Recording Academy, Neil Portnow said: "Stevie Wonder is a beloved icon whose golden songbook remains one of America's and music's greatest treasures.

"A 25-time Grammy winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, it's only fitting that Music's Biggest Night celebrates this legendary musical genius and pays tribute to his enduring music and legacy."
