Security guards were forced to carry Blur frontman Damon Albarn off-stage at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark over the weekend, after he played a five hour set and refused to stop performing.

Taking part at the festival with the Africa Express project, the gig ended at 4am but Albarn said: "F**k what everyone says. You want more, we're going to give you more", before asking the crowd to start cheering so he could continue to perform.

Earlier in the evening, Albarn had performed with Nick Zenner on a cover of The Clash's 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go', as well as singing with Laura Mvula and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon.

Gorillaz tracks were also infused into the set as well as a Randy Newman cover.

The Africa Express brings together various genres of music from across the globe, with prominent members also including Brian Eno, Seye Adeklan, Songhoy Blues and Jeff Wooton.
