After a fantastic performance at Glastonbury 2014, it seems the Dolly magic hasn't yet worn off and UK audiences are still in love with the country star, sending her latest album 'Blue Smoke - The Best Of' straight back up the UK album charts, hitting a new peak of number 2.
Previously debuting at number 6 before moving up to 4 and then 3, there's no slowing down for Dolly and she couldn't be happier.
“Wow, Number 2!,” says Dolly Parton. “I am so excited. They say when you are Number 2, you try harder. Thanks to all the fans out there, as this would not be possible without all of your love and support. Thanks again!”
As well as this, 'Lay Your Hands On Me' has been announced as the follow-up single from the record - a song written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.
