The 'All My Life' rockers posted a video message mocking the speculation they are going to break up with frontman Dave Grohl acting as if he was making a solo album and band members Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Nate Mendel trying to replace him with Justin Bieber, Liam Gallagher, Phil Collins and Nick Lachey.

At the end of the comical clip - posted on their Twitter account - a statement, read: "For the millionth time, we're not breaking up. And nobody's going solo!"

Foos announced yesterday (02.03.16) they were going to release a statement following speculation that they were to take a break as a band after it was rumoured Dave was planning to start a solo career.

A spokesperson for the rockers previously said the claims were "utterly ridiculous".

The rumours were kicked off after Dave - who was previously the drummer in grunge outfit Nirvana - performed on his own, an acoustic cover of The Beatles song 'Blackbird', at the Academy Awards on Sunday night (29.02.16).

Some fans saw it as him marking his first foray into the industry as a solo artist.
