Kate Bush has revealed she isn't going to be performing live again "for a while".

Speaking at London's Hammersmith Apollo at her final of 22 sold-out shows, she said to fans that they shouldn't expect to see her back soon.

"We're all really sad as it's the last night. I'm going to miss everyone so much.

"This is our last night... for a while anyway".

She then went on to thank the musicians and performers who have helped her with the show including son Bertie McIntosh who she called "wonderful", and wooden puppet Charlotte Williams - "our secret weapon".

A string of final faces were in the audience to say goodbye including Grace Jones, Graham Norton, Dave Gilmour and Noel Fielding.

The singer has sold a total of 78,000 tickets for the gigs, after kicking things off back in late August.

All of those tickets sold out within 15 minutes of being on sale.
