Kylie Minogue is to perform a selection of songs from her 1980s catalogue on her upcoming tour.

The singer's been "working closely" with Pete Waterman Limited (PWL) and is looking forward to performing early pop hits that include 'I Should Be So Lucky' and 'The Loco-Motion'.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post newspaper she said: "We've got access to the actual PWL sounds.

"We've worked closely with them to get the recordings, and it's just brilliant. You're going to hear sounds that you haven't heard since the Eighties. They're not all in the same key, though."

And even though she finds the touring life "incredible", she admits it can be all-consuming for everyone onboard.

"It's a bit odd, but when we're fully on the road, you can't really think about anything else, and the crew becomes family.

"If someone needs a hand or is having an off day, everyone else just rallies around to pick up the slack and helps out where they can. It's an incredible thing."
