Amazon have this week revealed the most popular playlists on its Prime Music streaming service ahead of Valentine's Day, with playlists including a lot of angst through tracks such as 'Better Off Without You', which have seen big boosts of over 150% week-on-week in plays than their romantic counterparts.

Tracks seeing an increase in popularity are 90s favourites 'Survivor' by Destiny's Child and TLC's 'No Scrubs', with further tunes such as 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' from P!nk, 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)' by Beyoncé and Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.

However all's not lost for those in the mood for love, with those happier amongst us opting for tracks from movies for romantic weekend listening, with Easy Listening and Classic Rock leading in the genres available.

Aerosmith's 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' from Armageddon, The Righteous Brothers' 'Unchained Melody' and Roy Orbison's 'Oh, Pretty Woman' are a popular three, with Whitney Houston, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen and Norah Jones all also at the top of music listener's priorities.
