Williams and Robin Thicke were recently ordered to pay the amount - totalling £4.8 million - to the estate of Marvin Gaye in a copyright infrigement case surrounding smash hit single 'Blurred Lines'.

Gaye's daughter Nona claims that 'Happy' bears a resemblance to her father's 1965 track 'Ain't That Peculiar' in a new chat with CBS News.

"I'm not going to lie. I do think they sound alike" she said, but Gaye's ex-wife Janis claims that the family currently have no intention in pursuing legal action.

"We're not in that space. We're just in the moment today and we're satisfied."

'Happy' currently has over 10 million sales since its 2013 release.
