McBusted have announced their plans to release their debut album in December.

The supergroup is made up of all four McFly members Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter alongside Busted's Matt Willis and James Bourne, and they've now put together a self-titled collection of 12 new tracks.

Included is the new single 'Air Guitar' as well as tunes from different genres such as 'What Happened To Your Band' - written by James following the 2005 Busted split.

Despite forming in late 2013, the band wanted to give it some time before putting out new material as "the expectations are so high", and they wanted "f**king good" music to release.

Collaborations included on the record feature Blink 182's Mark Hoppus, who co-wrote 'Sensitive Guy' and even lends his vocals to punk track 'Hate Your Guts'.

Speaking of working with Mark, Tom said: "He'd been such a huge influence on our song writing that to finally get in a room with him was so fun, if slightly surreal."

The full tracklisting for the album is as follows:
