Naughty Boy thinks Kanye West is an artist who takes himself too seriously.

The 'La La La' songwriter, producer and musician has spoken out about the controversial rapper - who claims his job is as dangerous as being a police officer or soldier - saying he only rants when he's in a situation of power.

He said: "[Kanye] is the perfect example of what not to do! If you look at all the places where he has had all his rants, it's always with the weaker interviewers. He needs a real person to interview him with some balls.

"He's only talking to himself. He takes himself too serious. He never rants at people who will argue back at him and that's not a great example of how to be."

The 29-year-old star, real name Shahid Khan, said he's "definitely a fan of his music" but not his personality and he doesn't seek fame in the same way as Kanye, 36.

He said: "I'm not trying to be as famous as my music, I just want to inspire young people."

The British DJ - who has collaborated with Sam Smith and Emeli Sandé - also blasted Kanye's fiancée, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, claiming she's a bad role model.

He added to entertainment website Ahlan!: "I'm in two minds about the Kardashians. When I think about what's important in life I get worried that my niece looks up to them since they don't really inspire people for anything."
