Nick Grimshaw has taken himself out of the running for hosting duties at the BRIT Awards 2015.
The host of the Radio 1 Breakfast Show suprised many when he silenced reports that he'd take to the stage as host, as he was the bookies' favourite.
He said that he is instead focusing on his role as host of the Barclaycard Mercury Prize, taking place next week at the Camden Roundhouse in London.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz about hosting the ceremony, he said: "No! No we're not. I'm presenting the Mercury's though."
Other favourites include Celebrity Juice's Keith Lemon and other Radio 1 presenters Greg James and Fearne Cotton.
Rita Ora has also denied any involvement in the ceremony, taking place on February 25. She's instead focusing on winning the awards: "No. We are not, and I'll be finishing my album."
