No Doubt are in the midst of creating new material.

Frontwoman Gwen Stefani confirmed the news during a Q&A on Twitter this Monday, October 21, stating the band have teamed up once more to work on new tracks.

Responding to a fan who asked if they had plans to follow-up sixth studio album 'Push and Shove' from 2012, Gwen said: "We're actually working on new music now.... (sic)".

The singer also spoke to Twitter uses about her new solo music following the release of new single 'Baby Don't Lie', explaining she hopes to have her first solo album in eight years released before 2014 comes to an end.

"Hopefully if all goes well, sometime in Dec. (sic)", she said.

Currently a coach on The Voice USA, Gwen went on to talk about what fans can expect from her new record, hinting that it will be heavy with material that sees her team up with other artists.

She told one fan "the entire album is a collaboration" and admitted she'd love to work with Kendrick Lamar.
