Prince's all-girl band have teased their upcoming debut album ahead of his live shows.

The 'When Doves Cry' singer has been touring with 3RDEYEGIRL in North America who are due to release their record 'PLECTRUMELECTRUM' this year and have posted a new video on YouTube.

The 28-second clip teases the song 'PRETZELBODYLOGIC' from the record and features photographs of the band - made up of musicians Donna Grantis, Hannah Ford and Ida Neilse - with Prince.

The band were holed up with the singer at his Paisley Park studio in Minneapolis rehearsing for "hours and hours" last year before heading out on the road and posted videos of their live gigs in Denmark and Portugal.

The 55-year-old singer has also announced a number of London dates at "iconic venues" and is heading to the city on Monday (03.01.14) to kick of his 'Hit and Run' tour.

It will be the first time the performer has played in the UK since his appearance at the Hop Farm Festival in 2011, and the first time he has played multiple dates since 2007, when he appeared for 21 nights at London's O2 Arena.

Details of the dates and venues for the gigs are yet to be announced but a press conference will be held at the home of singer Lianne La Havas.
