This week, Steps continued their hugely successful comeback to the pop music scene with the release of their music video for new single ‘Scared Of The Dark’, which you can check out below.

Directed by Howard Greenhalgh, the video showcases an exciting and infectious new dance routine as each of the members wear dramatic and eye-catching costumes, in true Steps tradition.

It follows the single’s rise to the top of the iTunes chart in March, knocking off Ed Sheeran and also going straight to the A-List at BBC Radio 2, where it sits as their most-played track.

‘Scared Of The Dark’ is the first cut from the group’s upcoming album of new material; their first since 2000. Named ‘Tears On The Dancefloor’, the record will be released on April 21 in celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary.

Steps will then continue their celebrations by heading out on the road in November and December, with all tickets almost selling out and a whopping seven dates having to be added to the original schedule thanks to huge demand.

Scoring 14 consecutive top five singles, selling over 20 million records and reaching Number One on the album chart and singles chart three times apiece, the BRIT award-winning group are ready to add to those records.
